Maghsoud Porcelain Production Complex was inaugurated in 1992 with an annual nominal capacity of 3,000 tons, in collaboration with the investment company of Bank Melli Iran and the State Employees' Pension Fund (ESKAD). Currently, with the implementation of development plans and increased efficiency, it has a production capacity of 6,000 tons per year and has achieved honors such as being the first recipient of a health license from the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education in the ceramic industry in Iran.
The development-oriented approach of the late Gholamreza imani, the great man and architect of the Maghsoud factories group, has led to the diversification and development of this complex throughout his fruitful career, turning it into the Maghsoud factories group.
It should be noted that the type of participation of this industrial complex is a tangible example of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in which all three private, governmental, and cooperative sectors have played a role.
Currently, the Maghsoud factories group operates with 20 subsidiary companies and institutions, including 19 companies and one educational institution (Maghsoud Applied Science University), and a structure of 10 main organizational units.
The companies in this group include Maghsoud Porcelain Production Complex, Sepidjamtous, Golnaqsh Tous, Azin Ghaleb Jam, Magsud White Foam, Dorsa Spoon Fork, Farzam Baspar Maghsoud, Sargol Shargh China, Sepideh jam toos Saina, Silica Sadr Jam, Kaniar Maghsoud Jam, Asre Shirin Maghsoud, Shanli Jame Maghsoud, Maghsoud Makers, Naghshe Maghsoud Sharq, Maghsoud Health, Golazin Maghsoud, Maghsoud Kavan Sharq, Sour Afrāz, Silica Jam, and Maghsoud Maker Consumer Cooperative of Mashhad. Of these, 15 companies (including Maghsoud Applied Science University) are currently active, and 5 companies are inactive.
The Maghsoud factories group has been able to create direct employment for 3,000 people and indirect employment for 10,000 people (from mining to the customer's table) through its effective and successful 30-year activity.
One of the most important programs and initiatives of the Maghsoud factories group is to maintain the dignity and health of its human capital, which is monitored every year through periodic tests. In addition, monthly food packages are distributed to employees, and the group supports the marriage and higher education of employees and their children. The establishment and implementation of a job ranking system and the invitation for the return of employees who had previously left the group are also among the supports and initiatives of the Maghsoud factories group for its human capital.
Exporting goods has always been among the most important programs and prospects of the Maghsoud factories group. The products are always produced according to the latest global and Iranian standards, and whenever customers from other countries intend to buy, the Maghsoud factories group has been able to meet their needs. From the mid-2000s, with changes in sales policies for marketing and market-making beyond Iran's borders, the group was able to bring its export trend in a unified manner and regularly export its products. In 2016 and 2017, the group was recognized as a model exporter in the field of Chinese and Opal products. The most important export destinations of the Maghsoud factories group include Africa, South America, Australia, Russia, and Central Asia.
Unfortunately, the founder and architect of the Maghsoud factories group passed away due to illness in 2020, which was a great loss for the Maghsoud family. However, in 2020, with the majority of votes at the general meeting of shareholders, Mr. Mehdi Imani, the son of the late Mr. Imani, was elected as the chairman of the board of directors of the Maghsoud factories group, and since then, he has been leading the Maghsoud family.
The great man of Maghsoud Group of Industries
Gholamreza Imani, the architect, founder, and developer of the Maghsoud Factories Group, was born in 1333 (1954) in the city of Mashhad, Iran. He developed an interest in industrial production and manufacturing from a young age, and at the age of 22, he gained his first experience in aluminum profile production by establishing a production line in Tehran in 1355 (1976).
At the same time as the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he felt a national duty to address the need for production and employment in the country, and he envisioned a variety of industrial and manufacturing plans with executable business models. This led to the creation of the Maghsoud porcelain Factories Group.
After successfully launching a ceramic vessels production complex in Mashhad in the 1960s and transferring its shares, Mr. Imani decided to establish and launch the Maghsoud porcelain Industrial Complex based on international standards and state-of-the-art technology beyond the traditional Chinese production methods in Iran. In 1371 (1992), the company started with 180 employees and a production capacity of 3,000 tons of ceramic vessels per year, becoming the first in the Middle East to use the isostatic pressing method in the production of ceramic vessels.
Throughout his life, Mr. Imani never stopped striving for development in the Chinese and ceramic industry and creating employment. He endured many hardships, especially in the later years of his life, where he suffered from chronic illness, but never wavered from his goal.
He never shied away from hard work and was always present at the workplace before his employees. He also continuously sought to gain comprehensive knowledge of work-related topics and participated in specialized meetings, utilizing the opinions of experts and professionals.
Today, the Maghsoud Factories Group operates in the production of Chinese vessels, opal vessels, bone china tableware, stainless-steel cutlery sets, molds and tooling, luxury handwoven carpets and rugs, leather products, cakes and pastries, clothing, and the design and production of photo lithography used in the production of ceramics, foam packaging, and construction. The group exports its main products to 13 Asian, European, and South American countries.
Late Reza Imani's achievements include being the exporter of the year in 95 and 96, the exporter of the sample unit of the country's small and medium industries in 96, and the top provincial entrepreneur in various years. Today, the vast Maghsoud porcelain company, with over 3,000 direct employees and 10,000 indirect employees, is one of the results of his years of hard work.
Mr. Gholamreza Imani had also prepared and developed over 20 other development plans to materialize the vision of the Maghsoud Factories Group. Unfortunately, on May 4, 2020, cancer took his life, causing a heavy blow to the Maghsoud Factories Group, and the long-term development plans, such as the establishment of the Glass City and the paper production factory from limestone, remained unfinished until the current Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mehdi Imani, his son, took charge.

The development of the Maghsoud Group of Industries, which was part of the late Gholamreza Imani's 25-year plan, has been carried out in three phases.
The first phase consisted of the development of plans that were implemented in the 2000s.
Shortly after the Chinese production complex Maghsoud was able to establish itself firmly in the production sector and increased its annual production capacity to almost twice that of the starting years, it began its own development plans. Among the development plans carried out in this decade were the establishment of Sepideh Jam Toos, Golnaqsh Toos, Azin Ghaleb Jam, and Sefid Foam Maghsoud.
The positive experience of past development plans led the Maghsoud porcelain production complex, which had been transformed, to begin the second phase of its development plans more quickly.
Among the development plans of the Maghsoud Group of Industries in these 5 years were the establishment of Ghasegh Changal Dorsa, Farzam Yespar Maghsoud, SarGol-e Sharq Chin, Sepideh Jam Saina, Silica Jam Sadra, and Kaniyar Maghsoud Jam companies, as well as the establishment of Maghsoud Applied Scientific University.
The third phase of the Maghsoud Group of Industries' development in the second half of the 2000s was also marked by the completion of the Stone Paper project, the Maghsoud furnace development project, the Opal 5 development project, the SarGol furnace development project, the Golnaqsh Toos development project, and the Rainmaker project.
The development of the Maghsoud Group of Industries was not limited to the establishment of new companies, as increasing production capacity and prolonging the life of Opal furnaces were among the other development projects of the group.
Furthermore, the establishment and launch of the Shisheh Industrial Park is among the long-term plans of the Maghsoud porcelain production complex, the foundations and fundamental work of which are in progress.
